Quint Studer to pay for stadium Improvements from bicycle accident settlement.

Local Businessman, Author and owner of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos Quint Studer was hit by a car weeks ago. The legal settlement involving the accident, Studer may end up pocketing funds that could go towards improvements at the Blue Wahoos Stadium. Because of the Wahoos’ new affiliation with the Miami Marlins, improvements are needed at Wahoos Stadium. The improvements, which would involve converting the field to artificial turf, have been estimated to be north of $2 Million. According to professional sports stadium experts, capital improvements normally are covered by municipalities, team owners or a combination of both. The editorial team at “The ‘Handle” have speculated that Studer’s bicycle accident may end up paying for the stadium improvements since the accident settlement is likely to be in the hundreds of dollars and none of us are any good at math.
